my sister the goon
The bad thing about facebook is that I'm lazy to put up pictures here for my LJ friends to see, so generally if you're interested, you'll have to add me on facebook to view them.
But I thought that this deserved an entry here...
I was at Porte de Cligancourt last night for Erik's party. We came out of the metro and it so happens that there's this guy selling those rubber balls with coloured lights. See my sister had got it in school for answering some question and she loved playing with it. So much so that when it broke just some days before I left she was so upset that she cried. When I saw it, I knew I had to get it for her, and fortunately for me it wasn't too expensive. Nonetheless I had to borrow money from Mariana cuz I brought out just enough cash with me last night! Heh. Couldn't decide between pink, green and blue but got the blue since that was the original colour she had.
I'd left it on my bed this morning because I was taking out the things from my bag. Then just now Georgia (the grandmother of the baby) and Olivier (the father) saw the ball light up when they accidentally moved it. They were so tickled that I had to explain that it was for my sister! Lest they think I'm a big 22-year-old baby. Although with the moon beside my pillow I don't think I was too successful in that heh.
Last night as we were walking to Erik's and back, the ball kept lighting up from the movement too, and startled some of my friends cuz suddenly coloured lights were shining out of my bag. hehe.
I decided that it might be a good way to have my sister beside me after all, when I'm feeling a little homesick.
Bibi! I sent them a whole lot of photos so you can look through them okay. Though come to think of it, you probably saw them on facebook already haha! And be guai, don't get yourself into trouble all the time!
