It's odd that an article about
Tinnitus should come up, but it's apt I think. I've been having hearing problems for a long time. I'm quite certain that my ear's structure isn't completely efficient. Normal people don't accumulate wax - they're supposed to fall out without needing instruments or treatments. And I thought it's common for your ears to get blocked after swimming, but then I was talking to Rifa'i one day after swimming, and I realized that it was just me. Sometimes the water might cause other people's ears to be momentarily blocked, but that's easily dealt with. Not for me - sometimes my ear(s) just get muffled for a week, or more too.
I haven't been very consistent with putting on my ear drops unfortunately. Zyfie used to help me with it but I've only done that once since I came here. And I'm supposed to have finished that medication eons ago. Seeing the specialist helped previously, but I think it was more spot-treatment than diagnosing the root of the issue and tackling it.
MUST remember to get a full checkup, for my ears and all my other problematic body parts when I get back. I don't think I am neurotic about health (there was a term for it, but it escaped me) but I don't want to ever look back and say, if only I'd gotten it looked at earlier.
