LN proposed last night midway through the performance! I'd first heard someone beside me saying that he heard there'll be a proposal in the performance, and when I looked up, LN was talking away a lot with the mic, but neither dongs nor I could make out what was being said. And Johnny was there waving some sign that I couldn't see cuz we were diagonally behind their place quite a bit. After that people popped confetti and were cheering, but dongs and I were still like, "so was there a proposal?" I was straining my ears to hear a "yes", but I couldn't pick up any such phrases. We weren't sure if it was a proposal, or if it was a proclamation of undying love to Jac Jac, but knowing LN, I wouldn't put it past him.
Then the cheering ended and LN went back up on stage to continue singing. I spotted Lewis beside Johnny, and decided that I've got to find out... and so it was! Heh. LN was among the first people I met in BE; as the backstage director, he was completely dedicated and an encouraging teacher, and he definitely had my respect. I remember there was one day when we were doing sounds for an event at frujch, and I noticed that there were a lot of lovey scrawls on his tablet pc's desktop from Jac Jac, which was when I first realized they were together. I thought it was quite sweet, especially since he was willing to leave them on and was quite proud of it. (= Just damn happy now to have witnessed all that. heh.
This was actually my first ever Starry Starry Night. I realized on Friday night that the reason why I've never been to a single one before, and why others could, was because bloody IS mods have projects deadlines in week 14 or so, and we've always been chionging our work on those last Friday nights. But I'm quite grateful to dongs for agreeing to come! 감사합니다!
Hmm I was feeling very ill the whole day, and even threw up just a bit before the event started, so I was quite worried that I'll throw up again during the night. Luckily, my body was a little more obedient last night, despite a few sick moments. *phew*
I was thinking halfway through the night, that events such as this make me a little less jaded about SMU, and I guess this whole thing made the event a whole lot more memorable now.
Oh and the reason why I didn't hear a "yes" last night, was because she'd simply nodded her head, and wasn't given the mic to respond to him through. At least, according the video someone posted of them on facebook. d= too bad I still can't make out what was said!
