Lighthouse of the Day: one from Lake Michigan, in honor of there being snow in Portland today! (We hope anyway.)
It is quite cold here - 11F this morning, with a terrible wind, and the sky looks like snow. Our office is closing early and kids are being released early too. Better safe than sorry is our motto here in Portland. I'm ready to go now, antsy to be back home and cozy with the furs.
Tonight I am supposed to be meeting up with Shanon for dinner but we're playing it by ear. Thai food though, so I kind of hope it doesn't get weathered-out. Speaking of FOOD....
I just tried this Sweet Onion Mustard with Roasted Garlic and OMG, it is incredible. It would be so good on a roast beef on rye with some cheddar and spring greens. DAMN. I'm hungry and no lunch in sight. I had planned to zip over to the deli for some soup, but they've closed early for snow.
