I forgot that I ran out of coffee yesterday. That made the morning sluggish and stumbly. I fully embrace my caffeine addiction. A grocery store run at lunch seems to be in order.
Today is insanely busy in my office. Before everything exploded, we had a cute moment.

Mark stuck a bear and a giraffe in his back pockets and ran down the hall with Shanti chasing him. Then he composed a little song about Elsie, the Green-horned Rein-cow. In response, Shanti happily ripped the face right off that rein-cow. My office littered with fluff and googley-eyes and something that appears to have been a nose at one point. Good times.
Among other things, I am listening today to Dengue Fever, which makes me want to go to Thailand SO BADLY. Lainet went a few years ago, and her travelogue of the experience only cemented my desire. Closer to home and no less awesome, I also want to go here:
http://www.innatarchcape.com/index.htm. It's a 30s-style resort on the coast which we passed yesterday on our way to the beach. It looks so charming, and the prices are very reasonable. I think I'm going to book a weekend, and go by myself if G doesn't want to or isn't able to go. It will be lovely and wonderful either way.
Tomorrow's schedule is nuts. I've got to go to the DEQ to get my car inspected and renew my tags, then we're going to a beer tasting at Urban Hopworks, then Griff and I are meeting a guy at the Horse Brass for new-friend hangouts, then I have a birthday party to appear at, and after THAT, G and I are going to see his friend's band play. Limited drinking will be the theme of the day, or I'll never make it. Pretty sure Sunday will be spent recovering from my weekend, hahaha.
Back at it. Miles to go yet today. Happy Friday, my loves.
