This is one of those news I couldn’t (did not want to) believe was true.
I don’t know anything about him as a person so this is about his movies I liked and me wishing there could’ve been more.
I have a soft spot for Heath Ledger. I’m one of those five people who watched and liked Roar. I liked the series and I hoped I’ll see those actors again. So I was glad he got a role in 10 Things I Hate About You, even if it was just a teenage comedy. Then I saw the The Knight’s Tale and I fell in love with that movie. I don’t know if it was Heath’s smile, Paul’s ass or music but I just love it. All this actors - Heath, Paul, Alan, Rufus - are one of my favourites and I’ve been glad everytime I see something they’re in. Especially if it’s something that’s genre. Like The Brothers Grimm.
I’m sad he won’t have the chance to work with Terry Gilliam again.
I’m sorry for his family - I could not bear a thought about losing my brother. Especially this way. Public with hate mongers fouling his name. With paparazzi camping outside their home.
They don’t even know when they’ll be given the body as it looks there are problems with determining the cause of death.
His daughter won’t even remember him.
