It seems like all that wherever I go all I see is either Star Trek: The Next Generation blu-ray edition or The Hobbit related.
Colbert is doing Hobbit week and got Ian McKellen to say who would win in a fight between Gandalf and Magneto. Here are six more clips for those who cannot wait another week, a trailer that gives a sneak peak of a dragon (shouldn't that be the next (next) movie?) and if you do go to a midnight Imax screening in US you will get a free poster (I already promised my family I will go with them in Poland).
The second season of TNG was just converted to blu-ray and it's apparently beautiful but the best part are all the cons that the cast reunites for. And that's the best part not just for fans but also for the cast as they seem to love hanging together. I see it in Wil Wheaton's blog post and this Patrick Stewart's interview (he also talks about X-Men). And from this Jonathan Frakes and LeVar Burton interview we all learn the truth behind Riker's beard.
