Some things that caught my attention

So Poland for the first time ever will be playing in Euro. I thought we'll have to wait for it to come to us (only 5 years left if we make it) but we made it now. I didn't watch the match but I heard some guys screaming Polska and I knew. I heard them through closed windows and I still hear them celebrating. Good it's so cold - they'll have to go back inside soon.

I tried to check new Marvel Digital Comics but it seems their website been struck by some malicious Doctor Strange fanatic and has been down the whole day. They seem to start to get this under control now - at least there's some links showing and some of these links work and there's an actual Marvel Error page instead of Firefox warning. So I think we can consider this Digital Comics thing a big success - they become important enough to be so messed up - means they're famous. Update - in the time it took me to write this post it finally started working - only 12 hours since I tried first.

Sci-fi Channel is coming to Poland. From 1st of December it'll start broadcasting. There was one previous attempt to launch it here but the project was abandoned. Now they try again. We already have one sci-fi channel - AXN SCI-FI it mostly shows reruns of Star Treks and Sliders and Andromeda. It also shows Charlie Jade but I've already seen it twice and I'm starting to remember why I liked Lexx (one of five people who did). Sorry, it was suppose to be about Sci-Fi Channel. It seems form the ads they'll be showing Battlestar Galactica - maybe on more convenient time the Thursdays just before midnight; Firefly - I wonder if Serenity too; and also Dark Angel and Charmed. We'll also get Flash Gordon and, after all good things I've heard about it I haven't even tried one episode. The funny thing is AXN already shows The Dresden Files and Painkiller Jane and Canal+ is airing Eureka so that's all they've got left :P.  I also noticed they'll be showing Hogfather, wonder if it means there'll be more British movies/series.
It also seems Sci-fi will be sharing space with Universal Channel which is going to show Dexter which totally makes it worth it.
