I don't have much to say as I haven't read any of that but I noticed that that's the second woman winning best novel in a row.
Maybe that's the change in literature that led Esquire to start e-books imprint called "Fiction for Men". Because if women took over even the SFF stronghold men need to find a new place to call their own. Enjoying "plot-driven and exciting, where one thing happens after another" written by a woman can give you cooties or, even worse, ideas. I also don't believe finding a new Alistair MacLean or Frederick Forsyth writing the same book in different setting is going to help with men readership.
Now something more enjoyable before I get to really big wank tomorrow. The whole thing of SpaceX sending a craft into space that I missed because I was on a plane. One day someone will say that about mission to Mars because they'll be flying suborbital.
