Duty fulfilled

This morning at 8 a.m. it was -4oC and everything was covered with frost. It was beautiful, especially pared with golden leaves still on trees. I woke up sick but I still went for a walk and took lots of pictures. So pretty.
Then I had to do some gardening to dig out some non-winter resistant plants. Temperature rose 10 degrees meaning it was 6 oC but at least the day was sunny and beautiful.
Then I went to vote which meant I had to drive 30km as I no longer live where I'm registered. Luckily for the attendance as I also managed to prod my brother and his girlfriend to vote to. Attendance for the firs time in years (decades?) is over 50% - and in Warsaw over 70%. I feel accomplished. But maybe that's just fever (37.5oC).
The results of polls were supposed to be shown an hour and half ago but it’s still not allowed - so many people in Warsaw and Gdansk have turned up to vote they run out of ballots in some places. They exhort to vote and now that people have done what they asked they are unable to deal with the numbers LOL.
New info - preliminary results now are supposed to be at 22:55. I go to sleep.
