Thank God It's Friday... Finally

There is a Farscape picspam on io9. I've seen many of those before - certainly, every Scaper is familiar with the Wanted posters - but it's Farscape art. It makes me all feel al fuzzy and happy inside. Unfortunatly it also led me to learn the comic books are ending too. Issue #24 will be a last one.

There is another bundle available on Kindle and this time it's the first 3 books of Gail Carriger's The Parasol Protectorate: Soulless, Blameless, and Changeless. It's a mix of urban fantasy and steampunk which would set all my warning signs (two most popular fads in sf&f literature right now) if it wasn't for the humour. Or at least that's what I heard as I haven't read that yet.

The cover for upcoming 4th Malazan Empire novel by ICE - Orb Sceptre Throne is already on the amazon.uk page for the book. The book is to be out in UK in January but there is no US publishing date (will it be Orb Scepter Throne?). I keep stretching my stroll through The Crippled God because I don't want to it to end. This reminds me there is life after MBotF. At least as far as reading epic fantasy is concerned.

Right now I'm rereading the Felisin parts of Deadhouse Gates and House of Chains as she is one of the women I'm going to write about for the We love the women that fandom hates. I almost forgot how sad and angry her story makes me. I've been planning to write about her anyway but I've been planning it for years so this is is a way of forcing myself to finally do this. I'm also planning a post about Isabelle Tyler but that's will probably be a picspam. I was thinking about other characters but they were all very popular so I decided to pick the unpopular fandoms.
