Gosh, I haven't updated this thing since, like, May! I'm still here, though. Indeed, I'm somewhat stuck at the moment. My brakes went out last Friday on my way home and I haven't figured out what to do about them yet. I'll do something tomorrow, even if I have to call for a tow truck.
:(
I know that the problem is that one of the brake lines must have broken (or the seal broke or something) because the brake fluid is completely gone. I can't trace the lines far enough to find the leak, though. Also, I don't think I have any brake fluid on hand. I might, though. I'll look more tomorrow. Anyway, I'm thinking that probably the brake line that broke is empty, but the others should still have a bit of fluid in them, so if I take the brake lines loose one at a time at the top of the motor perhaps I can tell which one is broken. Then, if I can block it (with a screw maybe?) I can refill the reservoir, if I have brake fluid (or can drain some from my old car?) and it should get me safely into town and save a tow fee. Only, I can't find anyone knowledgable about cars to discuss it with first so I don't know if it's a halfway sane idea or not.
Anyway, that's me. Oh, yeah, and the reason I decided to write in here again, I stole the link from NSandIK to the fairy tale character thing. This is what I got:
You are the little Mermaid. Always dreaming of
other, better worlds, you often forget about
the world you live in. You rather be somewhere
else and your greatest wish is that your dreams
could become true.
Good side: well, a great fantasy is a good side.
There's a possibility of becoming a great
writer.
Bad side: Sometimes you forget about real life a
littlebit to often. Also, being confronted with
real life can cause depression.
