Halfway to Real
A/N 1: Surprise! Random fic from me. I’d planned to post this a month ago, but RL got in the way. Better late than never!
A/N 2: I started writing this over two years ago, around the time I decided to concentrate on original stuff instead. It stayed on my mind, though, and it always kinda bothered me that it was wallowing on my hard drive, so close to being done. It also seemed a shame to not share the_milky_way’s art, which she’s probably forgotten about since it’s been so long. :p I’ve added an extra 6k, trying to fill in the holes as best I could. It was a bit weird getting back into Jared’s head, but I think it turned out pretty good.
A/N 3: Thanks to the_milky_way for the gorgeous banner. I know it’s been years since you made it for me, but seeing it in my pictures folder is what inspired me to finally finish this fic.
A/N 4: Jesus Christ, I forgot how annoying it is trying to post to LJ. GRRRRRRRR.
