sounds like we're in line for throne somewhere

So in the grand tradition of questionable choices I just recorded and then sat through, A Princess for Christmas, starring the always lovely--especially when she isn't smirking the evil smirk of Bitches Gotsa Get Cut--Katie McGrath. There was a lot of fail in that movie, the my biggest peeve was with the choice to have Katie play American Girl From Buffalo. Like she couldn't be sassy and no nonsense and Christmas-spirited and Irish?

Then there were scenes like the inevitable 'gotta shake up the rules/get my love interest to relax through music and dance' scene wherein hip-hop was played and things were dropped as though they were of a scalding temperature that could not be held aloft. i chose to believe that's how Blaine and Kurt dance in eachother's rooms while they hang out and Burt and Carol know better than to check in on them whenever they here anything vaguely like rapping because its too ridiculous and faintly disturbing to witness Kurt and his prep-school turned hipster grandpa boyfriend dance like the goobers they are BECAUSE THE 'PERFECT' DANCE WAS NOT DANCED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE CHOIR ROOM I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY

So yeah. I managed to avoid succumbing to The Christmas Cottage featuring Sam Winchester in an awesome red scarf I covet, but I'm wavering on that one with Sabrina and Mario Lopez reenacting Misery as a Christmas romcom.

But now it's time to continue working on my outline for my final paper for my LGBT lit class, so clearly I had to modify my LJ and post klaine fic instead.

poor choices, most wonderful time of the year, school, lifetime movies, what was i thinking, what i do for love
