Things to remember to add onto LJ URLs
I always forget these and find them difficult to search for, so here they are to remember.
To find a user's posts in a comm:
comm/?poster=user
See, if that was something that could just be posted under a user's little name block (see other posts by this user in this comm), we could avoid those painful and annoying author tags that take up half a page before you can get to any topical, useful tags. Hint hint, LJ.
These next few I'm not so sure I remember correctly but will playtest them when the need arises.
To get rid of the atrocious, illegible formatting that so many seem to love (do you want people to read your fics or not? Readability has stopped working for me so I'm cranky about this):
blah.html?format=light
or, if you are particularly enamoured of your own view,
blah.html?format=mine
I think works for comms (who should know better) and journals as well.
And to see comments by chrological order, not in their threads (helpful if you want to see the newest developments):
blah.html?view=flat
To combine different little... modifications, using & for each new phrase instead of the ?.
ie blah.html?format=light&view=flat&thread=8675309
