Studying

Its just something you have to do.  If you're lucky then you are the type of person who was able to esttablish study habits during high school.  However, this is not the case for most of us (Myself included).  It can be frustrating.  The urge to procrastinate will never actually go away.  Its times like that when you just have to push through and make yourself study.  Here are some options on how to do this.

1.  Seclude yourself.  If you need peace in quite find a place where you can be alone.  But  get out of your room!!  There are too many things that could distract you.  The best place is your schools library.  Its quite and will usually have study areas

2.  Reward yourself Set a goal and when you achieve it.  reward yourself.  Its a good way to encourage productivity and build self-esteem.  They only problem is that you have to hold yourself accountable and actually accomplish your goal and not almost finish it before you get your reward.  (This is my biggest problem.  I'll be close to my goal and then decide I deserve mmy reward early)

3.  Study groups  If your like me then studying alone is not your best option.  Study groups can be very beneficial if the people you include are serious about studying.  So ask people in your classes and set up weekly study sessions.  They don't have to be long.  This ensures that you are at least studying that subject once a week.  Problem:  You have to actually study.  Don't chat and joke around.

Hope this can help!
