Hello to ALL!
It has been a while since my last post. They've got me hoppin' at my new job. And I also share my office with 2 other people so it makes it hard to update my posts. I have a problem. When I opened up my journal the other day some of the lines are running over each other. I can't select anything from my friends filter because when I try to click on what I want to select it selects the lines that it's overlapping. ARGH! Oh well. Everything is going great at the new job. I really want to get in touch with someone from my old office and see how things are going but then again I don't. I don't want to even get that old mess in my mind. It's been kind of overwhelming at my new job with all of the new stuff I need to adjust to but everyone here is great.
I went to the park on Saturday with my boys. I joined this thing called "Dachshund Meetup" where you take your dachshund for play dates with other dachshunds. I searched the whole park for them and I couldn't find them. The post said to meet at the entrance and well, the park has more than one entrance FOOLS! Anyway I was very disappointed and I told my boyfriend that I was upset. He said "Well, at least the boys had a nice day in the park". I wasn't dressed for an hour long stroll through the park...my feet were killing me and I was really hot. Oh well, he was being a good sport and being positive like he always is, which kind of pisses me off sometimes. They have meetups the third Saturday of every month so hopefully I can find them next time!
I spent the past weekend and my day off working in my yard planting all of my shrubs and bushes. It was hard work but rewarding. I am just talking my yard work one day at a time. Once I get all of my beds planted then I can put my sod in and then it will look like an actual yard and not an old abandoned lot in the slums somewhere. I guess it's always that way with new houses. My backyard looked like crap for the first 8 months I was in it. I slowly started fixing it up. It just takes time and money. I also have some stuff to do inside the house so it's just one day at a time.
If anyone knows how to fix my livejournal page so I can select my friends filter i would greatly appreciate the advice!
