WAHOO! Friday!
I have decided that I will start a count down for my last day of work. I know that sounds cheesy but hey, why not! I sat down yesterday and had a meeting with Elaine. She came up with a three page list of stuff for me to do before my last day. It mostly consists of list and instructions for the person taking over my position, whomever that may be. I really don't think the company will be in business for very much longer. I am glad that I found something I am going to enjoy doing and that won't be so stressful/unstable. I am working all weekend at the AH (animal hospital-I'm getting too lazy to type that :)). I would like to get some stuff planted in my yard this weekend but I guess it will have to wait until next week. Actually I think a cabin trip is in order for next weekend. The boys need to get out in the woods again. The first time I brought them up there they loved it. My boyfriend and I decided to go on a hike and of course they were in hot pursuit. We had to cross the creek at one point so we found a shallow place to cross with the boys. Henry made it across fine. Max on the other hand decided to cross at a deeper place and was taken away by the current. His little head and nose were above water while his short little legs were paddling like mad under water. I of course, being a crazy dachshund mother, let out a big yelp and my boyfriend went in the water after him. I was nervous that it would scare Max away from water. On the way back to the cabin, we crossed a very shallow stream and made Max go through the water again and he didn't have any trouble at all. Problem solved!
