Fantasy Hero Cage Matches on Suvudu
My publisher, Bantam/Spectra/Del Rey,'s online 'zine, Suvudu (I dunno!) is throwing a round of SF/F cage matches. Can the wizard Ged defeat Edward Cullen? Are the Wee Free Men all over Aragorn like shine on a cheap suit? Can Locke Lamora outthink Rand Al'Thor (who?)? Does the Gunslinger stand a chance against Elric's sentient hellblade?
And, no, the swordsman St Vier is not there. Clearly they think no one's ever heard of him they know he would kick everyone's ass.
I gotta say the best part of these is reading everyone's comments - for once, they're all pretty clever and literate. You'd assume a blog for readers would draw such - but we've all had our hearts broken in the past, haven't we? Oh, plus you get to vote in each match!
