Radioactive Kitty
Athena is home from her Radiocat treatment for a hyperthyroid condition, where she was injected with radioactive iodine. Because she's still mildly radioactive, we have a few special rules for the next two weeks. We're supposed to use special flushable cat litter and wash our hands after petting her. She seems glad to be home and has eaten well. We're supposed to keep her from sleeping with us, which is going to be hard, as she usually likes to be my fur hat when the weather starts getting cold. I'm so glad to have her home!
