Life has been busy the past couple of weeks as I've been rehearsing for The Merry Widow. I am "Lolo" one of the six grisettes, and get to dance the can-can! Our costumes are cute and I was relieved to find that what we are wearing underneath our skirts is bloomers that come down almost to our knees, since we do a lot of, well, bending over with our skirts up.
I haven't gotten much writing done, but I need to get back to editing a short story and then back into my novel. I am thrilled that Thanksgiving break is soon and I will get a couple days off. I feel like I've hardly been home.
Now I have to try to wind down and get sleepy enough that I won't be completely crabby in the morning!
