I took some photos since I got my new camera on Labor Day and finally loaded the software into my computer and uploaded the best photos tonight. The Nikon photo editing program is more sophisticated than the one I've been using for several years, but I'm not comfortable with it so for now I just used the old one. Beautiful shots. Glad to see you getting good use out of this already. Can't wait to see the KGB photos!

If you're familiar with Photoshop, I recommend the free image editing program Gimp.

Thanks. I really need to work on using the manual controls. I stupidly forgot how to turn on the B&W (I printed out the info and it's easy--if you remember it) so no B&W tonight.

I'm not family with Photoshop--I've been using the microsoft one for ages (I think it's microsoft). What I need is a camera person to hang out with for a few hours to show me various things I can do with the camera (I loathe manuals) and also help use a more sophisticated image editor.
