My today :)
I came accross this really funny quote today "Don't worry, the world wont end today. Its already tomorrow in Australia." today and its so true! its great for us because it means if we come across a contest from overseas that ends the day we find it it means we still have a few hours to enter. on the downside, a lot of contests aren't open internationally, but oh how i love it when they are, which is why i would like to thank kaz_mahoney for making her contest an international one. it ends tonight (a few hours after us :P) so be quick to comment to go in the draw for a Torment ARC!! awesome prize i know.
in other matters. i strongly dislike my hair right now. it looked like dog poop this morning and now, now that im home to spend some quality time with my homework my curls have decided to sit almost perfectly around my face. grrr. hair you frustrate me - and you wonder why i straighten you!
Oh on to another happy not now, i received my copy of Beautiful Creatures today :D can't wait to get around to reading it, i've heard some pretty good things about it, and the sequel comes out soon as well. Today at tafe in my digital imaging class we made websites out of our animated gifs and buttons and stuff. its pretty cool but its not actually on the internet so i cant show you. but im pretty happy with how its going so decided to tell you about it. Its a beauty and the beast website with my little minipops on it. don't know what a minipop is - neither did i, visit this site to see a tonne of really cool ones: http://www.flipflopflyin.com/minipops/ there are a tonne of celebrities to scroll through.
Oh and also today i realised my schools bookshop had a really random dvd sale. all dvds $5 their not scratched or anything either! pretty awesome. i bought Brokeback Mountain, i love that movie. it had me bawling my eyes out and thats very rare for me, usually i just get teary eyed but i full on had rivers running down my cheeks! the only other movies/tv that have set me off like that, that i can recall, are My Dog Skip, Greys Anatomy season two final (when they put Doc down :'() and the Last Song (? im as confused as you are - its a miley movie!), anyway has anyone seen Brokeback? did you cry?
