“Ron? What is it?”
Ron shook his head in disbelief. “You were right,” he said in an awed voice. At Hermione’s look, he gave an apologetic shrug. “I know that you’re never normally wrong about anything… but I thought that you were, this time.”
“What are you talking about?” Hermione was perplexed. She’d only told Ron to go and wake Harry up, else they’d never get to Hogsmeade today, and he’d come back with a shocked expression on his face.
“About…” Ron gestured randomly with his hands. “You know.” When Hermione raised her eyebrows he elaborated, “About Harry being gay.”
Hermione’s mouth formed a perfect ‘o’ of surprise. “You mean…?”
“Malfoy, of all people.” After a moment he added, “In Harry’s bed.” As if Hermione hadn’t worked it out.
“There was always a lot of passion between them.”
Ron didn’t agree, but he didn’t argue either. Maybe he would blow up later.
“Enemies to lovers…” Hermione shook her head, but there was a smile playing across her lips. “Come on, I don’t think Harry will mind if he misses this Hogsmeade trip.”
