Harry and Draco were shopping. Whilst Harry would admit that Draco wasn’t quite as bad as any of their female friends when it came to the activity, he was still far more interested in it than Harry would like. The brunet couldn’t see the excitement in trailing from shop to shop, trying on what seemed like hundreds of garments and looking over various different items that, generally, were not what one wanted at all. Draco, however, seemed to be in his element and, Harry decided, who was he to deny his boyfriend? So he dutifully followed the blond up and down various high streets, all the while casting surreptitious glances at his watch.

“Harry?” Draco had stuck his head out of the curtains of the changing room he was currently in.

“Yeah?”

“I need your opinion. Tell me the truth.” Harry waited as Draco pulled aside the curtain completely to reveal himself clad in a tight pair of jeans and a plain t-shirt. “Does my bum look big in this?”

Harry reined in the urge to roll his eyes and cuff his boyfriend over the head. Draco had asked him the same question at least seven times already today.

“You look fine,” he said.

“Mmm. What about from this angle?”

Harry turned to glare at the blond and folded his arms when he saw a hint of a smile playing about Draco’s lips.

“I don’t know why I put up with you,” he mumbled.

Draco flashed him a grin. “Why? Because I’m gorgeous and charming and generous and…” he broke off laughing at the look on Harry’s face. “I’m sorry,” he gasped when he caught his breath. “You’re just so easy to tease!”

Harry’s sulky look was threatening to slip off of his face. “It’s not funny.”

“No, it’s not,” Draco said solemnly, standing behind Harry and wrapping his arms around him so that the brunet could not see the smile on his face. “The big bad ex-Slytherin should not make fun of the innocent little ex-Gryffindor.”

“Hmmph.” Harry wriggled in Draco’s arms. “You’re such a prat.”

“I know,” the blond agreed, pressing kisses into the side of Harry’s neck. “But you love me, really.”

“Still don’t know why,” Harry said, turning his head to capture Draco’s lips with his own.

They pulled apart after a moment and Draco stepped back in front of the mirror. “I think I’m going to get these ones,” he said, twisting to view the backs of his legs in the mirror.

Harry silently breathed a sigh of relief. They had been in and out of Muggle clothes shops all day and if the blond had found something to purchase it meant that they could probably go home soon. Draco hadn’t managed to make a scene by doing something that marked him obviously as a wizard so far, but the sooner they got back home, the sooner Harry could stop worrying.

As they walked out of the shop, Draco happily carrying his purchase in its carrier bag, he slipped an arm around Harry’s waist. “Harry?”

“Yes?”

“Does my…”

Anyone looking out onto the road would have seen a laughing blond being chased along the pavement by an annoyed looking brunet.
