Turning to Jun’s side of the bed, Mao sensed more than felt his absence. Going out of the bed, she found him in his study, on the computer, planning the coming concert of Arashi. Hugging his neck and leaning in for a kiss in the cheek, she said “I missed you. Come back to bed.” Kissing her hand, Jun said “This will take a while. Go back to sleep.” Pouting, Mao turned and sat on Jun’s lap. She straddled him and encircled her arms loosely around his neck. Finding her special spot on Jun’s neck, her lips on that spot where his jaw meets his neck, Mao murmured, already half-asleep, “Now I can sleep.”
