Summary: The other four ARASHI had their turns with Mao, now its Jun’s turn.
Chapter 2 - Prelude
Jun arrived home after finishing the preparations for his One Week Sorry Date. Mao still has an hour or two left before her taping ends and he made use of his time packing the essentials for their date. He called Johnny, ARASHI’S manager, Mao’s manager and ARASHI for permission, apologies and last minute instructions. (Not permission actually because he is NOT ASKING them for a one week vacation, he is TELLING them that they WILL take a one week vacation. And the last minute instruction being NO phone calls from all of them except for Johnny but only and only if it involves family; not for anything else especially WORK).
“I’m home!” Mao shouts from the door. She can’t help but smile as Hug-chan comes running towards her, barking her welcome. “How was your day, baby? Did you miss mommy? Did daddy feed you well?” Mao asked Hug-chan. She closes her eyes as she sniffs the heavenly scent coming from the kitchen.
“Hi! Hug-chan’s day was fine. Yes, Hug-chan missed mommy. Yes, daddy fed Hug-chan already. Welcome home.” Jun said as he walks towards Mao, grinning.
“I was surprised with your call saying to hurry home once I finished shooting. Your taping should be until 11 pm tonight, right?” Mao asked shyly.
“I asked them to shoot all my scenes first because I had to go somewhere this afternoon.” Jun explained while placing both arms on Mao’s waist and pulling her closer.
“Oh, may I ask where did you go?” Mao asked a little breathless, affected by Jun’s proximity.
“Yes you may ask and I will answer but only after I have my kiss,” Jun replied leaning his face closer.
Mao closed her eyes and leaned closer into the kiss. Lips met lips for what seems like forever. Coming up for air, Jun said “Get cleaned up. Dinner is almost ready. And to answer your question, I was preparing for my One Week Sorry Date.” Another peck on the lips and Jun went towards the kitchen.
Mao ambled towards their bedroom mumbling, “What in the world is a One Week Sorry Date?”
After dinner, Jun asked Mao to dress warmly saying they are going out. When she learned they’ll be gone a week, she became concerned of their respective work commitments. Jun assured her it’s all been taken care of. Mao was asking where they are going, but Jun was closed-mouthed as to their destination and was just saying “Out. We are going out. Dress warmly Hime, the night is getting cold.”
As soon as Mao was seated on the passenger seat and was comfortable, she immediately fell asleep. A full day of hard work has taken its toll on Mao. Jun looked at his girl lovingly and pulled over the side of the road to put his jacket on Mao, kissed her forehead and whispered “I love you, Hime.”
Chapter 3 - Purple One Week Sorry Date
Mao was being carried by Jun towards his beach house.
“Why are we at your beach house? Can you please put me down?” asked Mao. She is not fully awake yet but she can hear the waves and smell the sea.
“Because we are here for my One Week Sorry Date,” answered Jun putting Mao down near the sofa.
“That’s the second time you’ve mentioned that. What is a One Week Sorry Date?” asked Mao getting more curious.
“I will explain everything later I promise but I want you to go to the bedroom and change into more comfortable clothes. I will go back to the car to get our bags and then we will talk, okay.” Jun kissed Mao on the lips and then strode outside to get their things.
“That’s the second time he did that. Kissing me, telling me to change and then walking away. I am beginning to get pissed,” an annoyed Mao mumbled to herself, stomping her feet for emphasis. Grumbling, she went inside the bedroom and did what she was told.
Mao strolled to the living room to find the room with a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates, a Nintendo DS, a take-out dessert box from her recent favourite Italian restaurant; and a floater in the shape of a boat. There are also four gifts in the center table wrapped in four different colors. A big, flat box wrapped in blue meaning it came from Ohno; a small round-shaped box wrapped in red meaning it came from Sho; another square box wrapped in green meaning it came from Aiba; and a small rectangular box wrapped in yellow meaning it came from Nino.
“Are these for me from ARASHI?” asked Mao.
“Oi! Why assume it’s for you? It could be for me you know,” asked Jun with eyebrows raised.
Mao can see a smile in his lips and decided to tease him. “Because I know they love me. You don’t like sweets and I can’t imagine them giving you flowers without you giving them hell!”
Mao was expecting Jun to disagree with her and argue a little bit more so was surprised when Jun broke into a huge smile and agreed with her. “I will have them eat the petals one by one if they give me flowers and I know that they love you.”
Mao run to Jun and touched his forehead, asking “Are you okay? Do you have a fever?”
Jun was still smiling when he asked, “Why?”
“Because you are acting out of character,” Mao said. Remembering something, she asked “What is a One Week Sorry Date?” She became a little wary because at the mention of this, Jun’s smile wavered and he turned all serious on her.
With Jun facing Mao sitting on the sofa, he held her hands and told her about the conversation he had with ARASHI that morning.
“At first I was jealous because my first thought was that they are spending more time with my Hime than me. Then Ohno pissed me off with that future Sorry Fishing Date he was planning with you but it was him who made me realise that while you were not alone those times ARASHI was with you, I know (and they know) that you were lonely because I was not with you. We all know you have a big heart and you love us all, me especially. It was very unselfish of you to share me with my friends at the expense of the time we’re supposed to spend together. All those times, you just say you understand, that it’s okay with you, and that we can do this again next time. I know you tell the truth and for this I am thankful. I don’t know what I did in my past life to deserve you but I swear to you and our future children that I will do anything to prove to you that I am worthy to be with you. I love you, Mao.” Jun finishes with a heartbreakingly beautiful smile.
Mao, who was crying softly the whole time, removed her hands from Jun’s grip and held his face lovingly. “All that I did because I love you,” and kissed him softly.
Jun readily accepts the kiss for a full minute then stopped, “I said more or less 200 words and you reply with just 8? Arienai itsu no!”
“What can I say, you had me at “Why are you sending my girlfriend flowers and chocolates for?” Mao teased, running towards their bedroom with Jun following her with his intentions clearly written on his face.
Snapping out of his reverie, Jun got off the bed and walked towards the bathroom.
Opening the door, he said “Hime, you know last night doesn’t count. My One Week Sorry Date officially starts now.” As the door was closing, Mao’s laugh can be heard followed by a shriek, sounds of wet kisses and then moaning.
