Sort your life out
Because Ikea said so! :D Although this year's issue....eh no, 2007 copy is somewhat bereft of wonderful designs! BOO! So disappointing. I only liked a couple of rooms. But anyhow, after 12 hours of cleaning my room of rubbish (I kid you not), I need to make a trip to Ikea one of these days for storage solutions! Yay! Fatma, are you free on Thursday?? :D Because technically, I end at 10am now that Reuben is away in Europe for a conference. SO tempting to skip Pop Culture and just sleep in haha :P
Oh, and you won't believe the amount of things I kept since secondary school. What a hoarder! Sifting through the piles of papers/files and deciding which to keep or throw out was such a nightmare! Oh yeah, Fatma! I finally threw Ms Lui's maths notebooks away! I couldn't stand the thick layer of dust all around it and couldn't be bothered to wipe them off...so off they went into the trashbag! Haha all those years of insisting that I keep the notes because well, you'll never know when you might need them haha. Or that's what I tell myself anyway. Oh I was cleaning my stationery drawer and I was constantly surprised by the hidden pens that I found, even post-its! So basically, I don't need to stock up for at least a year! Oh, they say hoarders have a tendency to suffer from...umm damn! I forgot. I read about it in the papers :( Does anybody know??
But I'm so proud of myself! Such a labour but now my room has more space! Yay! Anyway, I realised I need to be 2 stages ahead in life before I throw things out eg. I needed to be in uni to finally be convinced that I don't need any of my sec sch notes at all! Blah. At this rate, I'll be accumulating tons of rubbish! But it's really amusing coming across personal notes from friends & myself! The things we do back then o_O Also, I am convinced for sure that even if I didn't ask so many questions when he asked to start anew, we would have broken up sooner or later anyway.
I still think I need a bigger room! I want my own room all to myself, personalise it and everything. Looking at all these catalogues only perpetuates the desire haha, especially sitting amidst all those junk! BOO! But anyway, so much for having dreams of becoming an interior designer when I was younger since I realised that I have close-to-zero flair in creative fields. Double boo.
But I've finally completed 15 days of fasting! Alhamdullilah :) Forgot how many days exactly I owed so I decided on 15. But halfway through, I remembered I fasted for 1 day earlier this year so technically I was left with 14. But I wasn't entirely sure so 15 it is! So it's 2 weeks away from Ramadhan, and I think the anticipation & excitement is building up! :) Even better, it coincides with our mid-term break woohoo! But then again, we're going to have an Appreciation Dinner (with some kind of activity in the afternoon) so that's going to be a tad tricky. Hopefully everyone will agree to Cafe Vienna because it's just so much more convenient for Fatma & I! :D Will do the poll tomorrow since I'm just too spent! And French quiz this Wednesday and I haven't started revising :/ Ergh.
