Catch Up
A busy week but it's almost over.
- Been doing some overtime to increase my funds for the end of summer, I'm taking a close friend on a much needed holiday after she had to take care of her sick grandmother before she passed away last month.
- Am also improving my job prospects by trying to find a second job in another sector, I need to juice up my CV for when I finish uni, and this will also help alot with my social issues. Have managed to arrange an interview for tomorrow with an agency to help me find temp work. This will be the first formal interview I've had in nearly five years - yikes.
- Have made some headway with the volunteer work I''d like to do for the summer. I contacted my local soup kitchens and they've got me on backup on the rotation system, so as soon as another volunteer is unavailable I can dive in. I'm also waiting to hear back from the Amnesty International Committee organiser at my uni about joining up.
- I went to see the Incredible Hulk tonight and while it wasn't a great movie it was entertaining. I love most comic book movies for that reason. Plus I've always found Ed Norton strangely attractive and Live Tyler isn't bad either :)

I also kept thinking throughout the movie that Tim Roth may well have made a good Snape.
- Have a bit of a dilemma for what to do this Saturday. I have a choice between: going to one of my dad's gigs (our relationship has been on rocky ground for a couple of years and I think it might help if I went), a friends birthday night out/graduating uni celebration (I already agreed to go though I haven't heard anything bout the plans yet) or the 21st of the work boy I've been flirting with (already told him I can't make it and he seemed a bit disappointed so I told him I'd try to stop by). Decisions are the worst.
Okay I'm going to bed now, I need to be fresh for the interview tomorrow. Hope all my F-List are well and I'll check out your LJs after the interview.
