Mobile Suit Gundam 0079

I don't want to post this on tumblr because I intend to liveblog the shit out of this series, but this morning I watched episode 1, because I had some time and because I was curious, and despite its age, it isn't half bad. But one thing that caught me, and continues to amuse me, is that there is this one character, who's name I didn't catch or can't remember, who is basically a much younger version of Zechs Merquise. Which is equally hilarious since this series is set easily 100 years before the events of Gundam Wing. But seriously, even the red military jacket, the white blond hair and the fucking mask are the same (also, I watched part of the first episode of Gundam Seed, and well... same deal).

I WILL REFLECT ON THIS MORE AS I CONTINUE TO WATCH.
