(no subject)
Scratch that last entry! I went back to the drawing board and on my first try, first piece of fresh paper, I mastered the still life. First drawing I actually completed in that class and first work I am happy with. Man said to me today as a passing by remark, "You are really hard yourself." Maybe it's true, but with that drawing and the e-mail I got from Mark... I'm happy. I am out of my funk. Or so I believe.

I got your drawing that you left for me `;o) It's fabulous because it truthfully conveys your ability and style, which is a good thing.
Practicing is important but, if you reherse the scales on a piano over and over again, then no one will ever know what
special gift you have to offer -and you DO have something very special to share. I like the composition, size, and line quality.
Your work has a very bold expressive quality to it. Why hide it?
NOW we can start to talk about more interesting and artistic issues.
