IC Information:
Name: Elle Holloway
Fandom: Silent Hill: Homecoming
Timeline: After meeting with Alex at the bulletin board, but before learning the truth about the town's history. I'll say sometime after she disappeared in the sewers.
Age: 22
Appearance: pic here. Elle has blonde hair, usually in a ponytail, and blue eyes. She is short, slender, and has a very slight build. She can usually be seen wearing jeans and a jacket.
Abilities: She ran track in high school in canon, so she's a good runner. Other than that, she doesn't seem to have many special abilities.
Personality: Elle is a vivacious, headstrong girl who refuses to accept the way things are and wants to change them desperately. She is friendly and playful but she also has a more serious side, and can be downright passive-aggressive as seen with her behavior toward Alex when he seems to care more about Josh than the fate of the rest of the town. Elle is stubborn to a fault and can be a bit sarcastic and snarky, which was never shown much in the game but in her personal diary on the official Homecoming site, she displays quite a lot of this. Elle loves to joke around and she is generally friendly with people, though she can occasionally seem a little awkward and shy. A very intense person at times, Elle wants to do what is right, even to the point that she was nearly killed by The Order for refusing to conform to their ideals.
History:
Elle is Alex Shepherd's best friend. They have known each other since childhood, though they stopped spending time together for quite some time and did not start their friendship again until they were in high school.Five years ago, Alex left Shepherd's Glen with no explanation, and Elle was rather angry with him for not saying goodbye to her, given the fact that they were such close friends.

Elle is a member of the Holloway family, one of the four original founding families of the town of Shepherd's Glen (the founders left Silent Hill to pursue religious freedom and make a new life for themselves. The original founding families are Shepherd, Holloway, Fitch, and Bartlett).Elle is the oldest of two daughters, and her sister, Nora, went missing some time after Alex left the town. Her mother, Margaret Holloway, is the town's presiding judge and one of the only people who has not slowly started to lose their sanity as the condition of the town worsens. After Nora went missing, Elle began going to the town's bulletin board and posting missing fliers for her. Eventually, as more and more people began to disappear, people started to bring their own fliers to Elle to put up, and it became like a ritual to her, the one thing she could do to somehow help the situation of the town. As fog began to roll in and the population began to dwindle, Elle spent most of her time locked in the library typing in a journal as a connection to the outside world. She only left the library to hang fliers and to visit the police station where Deputy Wheeler, one of the only other people who seemed concerned about the state of Shepherd's Glen, was constantly residing.

Things began to get progressively worse, to the point that Elle started sleeping in the library. Her father refused to get out of bed and her mother was becoming increasingly distant, and Elle began to feel like she had no allies aside from Wheeler and Clint, a man who worked at the library. Dark shapes began to move around in the fog and things began to follow Elle as she walked through town. Finally, Clint disappeared and Wheeler barricaded himself in the police station. Elle continued to stay in the library, typing in her journal. Finally the computer stopped working completely, and it is not known what happened to Elle immediately after because the journals stopped. Later she is hanging fliers when Alex encounters her, and they reunite.Elle gives Alex a walkie talkie she got from Wheeler to keep in contact.

After Alex's return, Elle's actions are mostly a mystery other than the times she is with him. While Alex is in the police station helping Wheeler fight off monsters, he gets a transmission from Elle on his walkie talkie telling him that something is chasing her. He gets to the parking lot in time to see her get into a police car as a Siam chases after her. It knocks the car over with its arms, but Alex kills it and he and Elle escape into a manhole to avoid the sudden monsters that close in around them. They manage to survive the monster-infested sewers together, but after they become separated by a grated door, Elle goes on to find a way out, and a scream is heard. Alex later finds her walkie talkie in a large pool of blood.

They are reunited later, but no explanation is ever given as to what happened to Elle during that time, or where the blood came from.

Roleplay Sample - Log: With a sigh, Elle tossed her jacket over the back of the kitchen chair and glanced around the empty room. "Mom, I'm back!" she called into the house, though she knew it was empty. Her mother had not been home during the afternoon in days, returning much later in the evening than she ever had before. Elle didn't know what she was doing, and she didn't care at this point. Grumbling to herself, she pulled open the refrigerator. All that was inside was a jar of mayonaisse, and Elle slammed the refrigerator shut and caught sight of a twenty dollar bill taped to the door of it. "Typical mom," she griped internally. "She can spend all day traipsing around God knows where but she can't find twenty minutes to buy groceries." She pocketed the twenty and leaned against the wall, heavily, sighing. At least Alex was back now.

"Maybe he'll do something about what's going on..."
Roleplay Sample - Journal:
I don't know what's going on. I woke up this morning and there was blood all over my bedroom floor. So, I went out into the hallway, and there were footsteps (bloody footsteps. Ugh.) leading down the stairs and out of the house. I followed them for about half a mile, and then they just stopped. Not like, they stopped somewhere because someone washed their feet or went inside. They just stopped abruptly, in the middle of the street. Right in front of the town hall. I went inside, and the place was deserted, but my mom was there at her desk, doing her paperwork like nothing in the world was out of place. So I asked her if she'd seen the footprints and she looked at me like I was crazy. I explained, and she just looked at me like I was crazier. Then we got into an argument about dinner (how did that happen?) and eventually I just kind of left. I didn't want to go home, because I was to freaked out by all the blood. I just wandered around town for a while, and eventually I came across Alex.

He's still looking for his brother, and I get the feeling he wasn't even happy to see me. But there are more important things going on here.

I think there's something wrong with this town.

Questions? Comments? Crazed and creative statements? Those go here. Not much :'D just... I hope the history isn't too weird and full of holes. I took it from both what she mentioned in the game (which wasn't much) and her official diary, and a lot of things were left out in canon so I just couldn't include them. I pieced it all together the best I could.
