my mom and i went to ikea today, and that was fun. she and i going shopping for things around the house. she bought me a rug for my room, cuz there's a new stain on my carpet and we have no clue how it got there, and then our carpet cleaner couldn't get it out. my rug is yellowish cream. i also got some boxes for my desk to organize my crap in it. they're cute and made of cardboard and they were cheap.
my family is also getting a flat screen tv because our main tv just up and broke for the second time in like, 6 months, and they don't feel like paying to fix it again.
its fun getting new things.
i'm afraid i'm not getting enough hours at work. but i talked to one of my managers, and after telling her that i wish i could get more, she was like "well, are you working tomorrow? cuz i'm going to need help moving around women's, and since you've been helping out so far, would you like to come in?" :) i really like that manager.
i need to finish the fountainhead.
its been hard to read when i'm working so much.
and yeah, i read on vacation, but like, there was other stuff i wanted to do.
