How's that for entertainment?

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is surprisingly entertaining, despite my general and persistent distaste for Henry Cavill and the disturbing back history of Uncle Rudy. But then I am, alas, shockingly easy for most Guy Ritchie films. In addition, I think I could be developing an OT3 ship for the first time ever, mostly because Gaby and Napoleon seem to be effortlessly domming the fuck out of Illya in every scene. (Although what the eff is up with all the prismatic lens flares? Is this a secret homage to Easy Rider or to J.J. Abrams?)

I have to admit this has cheered me up no end after a couple of days in which I have been horrified but sadly not surprised by demonstrations of rampant male privilege and near-sociopathic misogyny by students. And thus the balance of Yay to Boo in the world is restored. Hurrah!

life don't talk to me about life, the man from uncle, fandom
