light--glimmering and otherwise

I typed this a couple of weeks ago:

Dad got his miracle. There are no signs of cancer. It's so so so happy. The usual thing: doctors dumbfounded, can't explain it, absolutely couldn't be, yet it is.

Mission update: I just got used to using the weird software they use for answering phone calls, and they are changing it. We switch over on Tuesday. Scared!

I didn't realize it never posted.

Since then:

The new software for the mission is great. Quite used to it now and it's much easier.

I turned in the final edits for my sequel, which has been renamed Glimmering Light. I don't like it so much. The publisher is the one who named it Glimmer of Light, and now they are the ones who have changed it once again. Another author, one with a lot more sales than I, turned in a book called Glimmer of Hope last year. So instead of telling her she needed to change hers, they change mine. I guess it doesn't matter.

There was a fire in our neighborhood last night. It burned down a light pole so we had no power for several hours; It was pretty funny that all the teenagers came here to hang out, even though all of them had power at their houses. It really is more fun with candles.
