New Year, New You

Had the strangest dream last night where a Christmas card arrived from lathany and bateleur addressed to me and flatmate K. Even stranger was waking up to find that it wasn't a dream at all! Truly I am a deficient human being - I haven't even written cards to my family...

This morning my New Year's Resolutions have suddenly started to take shape. They still need a bit of work, but it's a start.

Elle's Resolutions (draft one)

Personal
1. Give up booze (mostly) and particularly red wine (temporarily)
2. Spend less money
3. Take up some form of non-boring exercise (suggestions welcome)
4. Lose Christmas flab
5. Go clubbing more (may or may not be compatible with resolution 1, but can always replace alcohol with narcotics)

Professional
1. Do not bite or in any way molest new boss
2. Avoid all Christmas party photos involving ball gags
3. Be Supremely Fantastic PR Guru

Aspirational
1. Be less shallow (suspect this one may be harder than it looks)
2. Be a bit more sane (ditto)
3. Be a bit less contrary
4. Buy fantastic shag pad in central London with the Kitten and throw fabulous parties for the glitterati
5. Kidnap Matthew McConaughey to be house slave in fantastic shag pad
6. Win lottery
