Thinking
Because college is drawing closer (and because I just have a lot to say and because I miss writing about anything and everything) here are some of my thoughts:
1. I still don't understand how a lot of people who didn't work as hard as I did writing my appeal to Ateneo (yes, I'm open about being on the waiting list) were accepted into the late-acceptances, yet I wasn't. I work extremely hard, asked for a good recommendation from a dependable authority who I knew well and trusted, and took time writing and re-writing and proofreading my own letter of reconsideration. I guess most of the time, bad things do happen to good people.
...But I'm grateful for the opportunity to write another letter.
2. I wish I didn't have so many dance classes and commitments to different dance groups so that I could visit my cousins (the Delostrinos' in Seattle and Julian and Carla in Apple Valley) and shop the trip away.
3. Something amazing just happened to me. I was offered to be a part of something highly prestigious that will take place in between July 28-August 2 -- yet I can't tell people about it and why I can't drink any alcohol, smoke, or curse. I'm still so grateful, though.
4. When I hear about the sweet things that happen to couples, or who's with whom now, I get that tingly feeling... and I know it's because I miss talking to him...
About everything.
5. I really want Yama to drive Maria and I to KFC and back to the grass... I have so much faith in God.
6. I appreciate the random days I get to spend time with my friends, just lying on the bed and talking for hours. I had a good random day today :)
