This weekend has been one of the most fun I've had in a while, and by that I mean ages. Nowadays, it's all senior stress and senioritis and college focus all piled up in a few weeks, so I guess we deserved these eventful past 3 days.
Friday was chill, and by that I mean extremely chill. Rina, Julia, Elisha and I had drinks at Bollywood (after how many weeks) before Jaime's, then we headed to San Lo for Ripoll's birthday party. Chill but with great drinks. We entertained ourselves with kinky dice! That didn't really work, considering we were all girls. But Jaime would stop by and chat with us once in awhile. I know someone who absolutely looooved that.
Saturday was the day of adventure. ACDT trained at Groove Central in QC. Airforce had been training for Skechers before us (with Coach Vimi) so they watched us train for a while, which was pretty nerve-wracking considering they're one of the really good high school dance troupes today. It was a tiring session filled with new break dance choreos and krumping, and I was beat at the end. I headed straight to Rina house, which was such a miserable sight considering she's moving to White Plains this week and all I could see were boxes galore. Ina picked us up and we headed to The Arena at San Juan for the Ateneo Eaglet's Championships versus FEU High.
All I can say is... GO ATENEO! They won by a mile. Congratulations to Ivan, Kevin, Von, Ael, and everybody else on the team.
Rina, Ina and I spent time looking for Ina's car in the rain, but when we finally found it, we headed to McDonald's at Greenhills. We had a nerve-wracking experience trying to ask for permission from our parentals to go out later that evening, so we decided to head to our respective homes at 8 pm to chill and get dressed.
Later that night, at 11ish, Mandi and I met up with Rina and Ina again at Kevin's house in Acropolis for the Eaglet's victory party. From then on, the night was an absolute celebration. We were the only girls invited and we were surrounded by the Ateneo Juniors team. We made so many new friends, our favorites being Von and Ael, the adorable younger boys who were so smooth and suave that they charmed their way to a newfound friendship with us senior girls! The night was awesome, random, and fun with RIME.
Now, I don't have too many pictures from my weekend, but the few important ones are those that matter, of course.
These are the gorgeous girls I spent my weekend with (Rina & Ina, missing Mandi)
Ael, my new-found Junior friend who is absolutely adorable.
KIRK LONG, BABY
Yuri Escueta in the house!
And of course, Jai Reyes!
All I can say is: what a NICE guy. Seriously, we loved him!
Today was the Status Yardsale and Den, Yama and Gio B. came over so Gia could drive us to Embassy after lunch. There we met up with Prieto, Banina and Casey and we shopped for a while. It was fun to be with friends on a Sunday, no matter how short the time was that was spent together.
So, I hope to see you all on Tuesday evening at the Ateneo Bonfire! Double whammy, guys. Nothing gets better than that!
