'Tis the season to be merry

I don't think it's ever too late to wish anyone a Merry Christmas because really, it's been pretty merry, if I do say so myself. This Christmas break has been surprisingly short. In a few days, we'll be partying our asses off to the beginning of a new year, and once again, we'll be faced with better, bigger opportunities and will come across better, bigger men people.

I've spent most of my break out with friends, mostly Mandi G., whom I've had a drink with for almost four consecutive days now. Isn't that in itself a sign how slowly people change -- we become more and more different in terms of looks and personality until we finally realize that we aren't the same people we used to be? I, myself, know for a fact that I've completely changed from an innocent little insecure weirdo to a more open-minded, still pretty insecure person. Things, and people, change. So if you find yourself with a funky new Rihanna 'do or a brand new wardrobe off the racks of Posh's favorite boutiques, don't worry too much. Change can be good, as long as you know how to control its quick pace.

My Christmas Eve celebrations were quick but fun. Today, I spent my afternoon shopping my arse off at MOA with my sisters and having a quick, kwento-filled reunion with the coolest batch Steps Dance Studio has ever had. Although PJ, Mary, and I aren't with Steps anymore, it was refreshing for Madge, McCoy and April to fill us in with the nasties of Raul's latest honey and how Petipa the Chihuahua is doing. You can take the dancer out of the company, but you can never take the company's spirit out of the dancer. I missed those turn out-obssessed lovers -- we may be quiet onstage, but offstage you can hear us from a mile away.

Madge and I are planning our joint celebration. No, it isn't what you think it is. All I know is: Topshop bunny feet things, here we come!

I'm off to Bora tomorrow. It'll be my first time in 10 years. Maybe I'll meet all ya'll on New Years' Day and we'll party 'til the break of dawn. Hasta pronto!
