It's definitely difficult to have had such a long week of tiring, draining dance training and having to arrive home after dinner and studying for difficult tests when you'd rather be asleep -- and have all of that end up being for nothing. France, Carla, Mariel and I sat outside the IV-1 classroom after the entire high school heard of the recent Glorietta 2 bombing, and prayed... and cried. We prayed for the people who've passed and all of those affected by this recent tragedy, but we also prayed for everybody who worked hard to prepare for Varsity Night and the other events all very much awaited for.
ACDT sat in the canteen on two tables pushed beside each other and sat and ate and wallowed. Despite our excitement becoming a whole load of wasted nothing, we were (and still are) totally grateful that red blACk white wasn't completely cancelled. Thank you, Anj Poe, for being so patient with all of us despite the rude sidecomments given by the assembly. To pass time, some of us played wacky racing games or floor-sliding races a la Pussycat Dolls and tried to forget about the ruined weekend.
I fell asleep on Mandi. But we had a great time :-)
I am so thankful I have you, Louise Legaspi.
