Writer's Block: Pecking Order
I am the oldest/middle. Technically I am the middle of three, but mostly I am the eldest of two. My older sister is 10 years my senior, and my dad's eldest but, she lived with her mum growing up and we hardly saw her, so, I was mum's eldest, and the eldest in the house. I think of myself as the oldest of two, really, though since Da died all three of us are trying to be better at being sisters.
I think of Chelle as MY older sister, and Megan is MY younger sister. Its really hard for me to think of them as sisters. They're related through Dad and through me, but not actually through each other. Weird, huh?
But Megan is my responsibilty, sisterly. I don't like the idea of sharing her, actually. And I don't really want to share Chelle either, come to that. So weird.
