So Don't Be Afraid To Let It Show

Apr 09, 2009 16:06

I can't believe I just ate hotdogs and drank Coke with my family--my healthy-living family. Seriously, that was insane, but it was the most fun thing we ever did today. Haha! XD

And because I am such a fangirl, I just made meself an Anoop LJ icon (see my icon now). I've never seriously fangirl-ed like this over someone since Danny Noriega. Hahaha. The difference is, Anoop's stay on Idol is longer than Danny's. Honestly, even if I like Danny Noriega to be included in the Top 12 last season, I don't think he'd win AI against the Davids. And I think I'll gain a lot of haters just by saying that.

Disclaimer: I love Danny Noriega. In fact, I named my laptop after him, but instead of spelling its name with 'ny,' I use 'neh' because I call Danny, Danneh. Danny Noriega is so adorable especially when he's pissed off. No offense, but he isn't AI winner material. I kind of see him as a recording artist, though. Hmmm... siguro electronica ang genre niya if ever. Hehehe. XD Go electronica!

Sometimes, I want to punch myself for being such a fangirl. It is so guilty pleasure inducing. It is so high school and I'm 20 years old already. And to make me feel worse, I am about to say goodbye to college officially next, next week. At fangirl pa rin ako. Hahahaha. Is it that bad to be a fangirl?

E come to think of it, Anoop was born in 1986 (at December din siya k). A 2-year gap wouldn't hurt. HAHA!

No. I dont think I'm hardcore, though (ASOWS). Siguro, natutuwa lang talaga ako sa mukha ni Anoop dahil mukha siyang cute little boy. :3 And last night, I nearly melted every time the camera catches his face. Hahahaha!

Favorite shot of the night. *___*

Hahaha. I hope he stays longer on Idol. He's actually the reason why I'm watching American Idol. I'd feel bad if he goes home next week. y.y He always looked so pleasant. 8D

On a serious note, I'm actually kind of scared for him in case he makes it big in the music industry. I don't want to see the dirt of the music industry taint this cute little (Ella, he's tall for crying out loud) boy. God, retain Anoop's class and dorkiness when he gets super famous. I don't want to see him turn to a big turn-off. Thank you. Amen. :-)

Hehe. Fangirl much?

This is the most normal Maundy Thursday I've ever had except my father's been playing songs during his time. I love Karen Carpenter's voice. It's so classic. :-) So classic whut? Hahahaha. My vocabulary needs some serious upgrade. I'll go buy a new dictionary, fine. :-|

Speaking of Maundy Thursday, I'm not really into Holy Week. It's good that we remember what happened to Jesus while He was here, but like any other special thing, it loses its essence. Sure, we all know what Holy Week is about. It's about remembering the last days of Jesus. It's really not about Pasyon, not eating meat for three days, not playing cards, and not singing loudly. It's just sad how familiarity can take away what makes Holy Week, Holy Week, or any special ocassion for that matter. Buti nga hindi tayo nagbabatian ng 'happy ash Wednesday" or "merry Maundy Thursday" because that would really suck (and ironic haha). XD Moreover, because there is a Holy Week, it is only in this week that people remember God. We can always do some serious reflection, not just during Holy Week, or in retreats. Reflection is just like thinking about the person you're going gaga over. O di ba, it's easy?

I'm pretty sure God won't kill you for eating meat today. It's not even stated in the bible not to eat meat during Holy Week. Heck, Holy Week wasn't even in the bible even after Christ died. I don't think we need the Holy Week to remember Jesus. We can always think of Him anytime. :D Kaya nga REMEMBER.

P.S. Before you throw your tomatoes at me, let me just say that I'm not a hater okay? Okay. :-)
