Ay Naku Powhz

I thought LJ has gotten rid of the annoying Snickers ad. I am once again reminded why I don't really buy Snickers. Loljk, but the ad is really annoying.

Anyway, we just got back from Palawan and it wasn't exactly the best vacation ever. It wasn't actually a vacation. We went there because we had to settle things about our home lot in Narra and yes, my sister and I are home lot owners in Narra now. :) I'm not exactly excited, but I'm happy. I already have plans on what to do with it, but I think my parents have forgotten that I'm going back for another three (or maybe four) years in college because I'm crazy. During our four day stay in Narra, I was all sorts of horrible; I was sick with cold and cough, and I even had a minor sore throat (yes in my world, we have minor and major sore throats). Now, I'm having dysmenorrhea.

Colds + cough + dysmenorrhea = insert big fat bad words here.

Colds and dysmenorrhea are cancers to the society because they make us feel horrible more than fever (at least in my case). Every time I have colds I want to cut my nose off just so it would stop. See how colds bring out the worst in me? If it's your first time reading my blog (as if somebody would stumble upon my blog), you'd probably think that I'm insane and that I love to exaggerate. Well darling, you are probably right. :D

Speaking of home lots, I now understand why eradicating corruption in the country seems like a futile effort. It's not entirely just because of one corrupt person in the government as the leftists are implying, but it also includes us. Yes, us. Hello. The people in the government aren't the only Filipinos, right? Actually, the simple pasingit we do in queues is corruption already. Read your dictionaries and know that corruption isn't just about stealing. It's basically polluting something that's immaculate, and by immaculate I mean to say clean (immaculate isn't entirely religious, mind you).

I was quite surprised when I saw corruption point blank when we were in Baranggay Estrella in Narra. All along, I thought that the one in charge of the home lots in Narra was serious about not permitting reservations, but in truth, she has reserved a block full of home lots for her kids and for her offspring's friends. So much for not allowing reservations. There was also a middle-aged lady who claims to have many kids and wanted to own 10 home lots. You want the truth? She only has three kids. What annoyed me is her constant dialogue. "Sampung lote lang naman." Hello ate. Hindi nila-lang ang sampu, andami nun.

And you think the president is corrupt? Hey, we are all capable of corruption, too.

yadda yadda, sino ang tibak?
