being here is definitely borderline surreal. i can't believe it's only been two days.
yesterday was particularly strange. during the registration process, i met nearly all of the people i'd spoken to online. i'd either recognize them from a photo or catch a revealing snippit of conversation or be introduced by others. definitely some weird shit, to know somebody but not know them. but aside from (on top of?) all the weirdness, i'm majorly thrilled to be here. all of the kids have been so nice and so friendly, and there's so much stuff going on. i can't escape the cty comparison, especially in respect to my building. right now there are maybe twenty girls living here in titsworth, and a bunch of us have sort of bonded in that cute squirrel hall kind of way. ok, this entry is weird and doesn't really sound like me, i think it's cause i'm way fucking tired. i really feel the need to talk about all of the people i've met and document all the stuff that's happened, but it's totally impossible at this point.

i'm just going to say that at least so far this school totally RULES. (she says the second night.) more than i thought it would. and i'm so excited to start classes and get my work study and just get into the swing of things. we'll see if i feel this way tomorrow, when all the returning students get back. (ominous music.)

i'm going to bed folks.
