Driving has taught me to appreciate my horse

I went for my first stick shift driving lesson today! This event has led me to one inevitable conclusion: I am destined to drive automatic cars. It’s horribly scary and very difficult. I looked pretty good and felt all European but it’s really not worth the hassle when there are plenty of automatic cars out there looking for a good home.

I went for my second driving lesson today… And just when I had solemnly sworn to never drive stick shift again! This time I drove for about 15 minutes then, trembling, I got out of the car and handed the keys to my aunt. I just couldn’t take it anymore. It’s one thing to start driving and having to change gears from the beginning, it’s quite another to have to change all your driving habits just like that. Definitely something I suggest everyone try, though!
