I'll never be able to like them...

First of all I want to say "I'm really sorry" for K-Pop fans... I didn't mean to make K-Pop look bad or else, I just want to share my feelings and thoughts...

So, in my country, Indonesia, K-Pop is booming... ALMOST ALL teenagers love K-Pop, and you can easily heard any of, let's say SNSD, SuJu, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, Shinee, etc, songs every where: mall, cafetaria, even in public transportation... For me, it's fine... There's nothing wrong with it... Even my Ken Miyake loves K-Pop...
In my university, at this April there will be a PORSENI (pekan olah raga dan seni = sport and art week) and there are several competitions including dance cover and lipsync competition. And because K-Pop is really popular, we use SuJu's Bonamana for dance cover and SNSD's Kissing You for lipsync... I'm joining the competition, just want to learn dancing and want to get some fun.

Because I'm joining the competition I'll try to watch Bonamana's and Kissing You's MV, I want to see how those performance supposed to be. I watch Bonamana last night and Kissing You the night before but not until finish. I just can't enjoy it like I enjoy V6's performance... There are somethings missing, that V6 have but they don't. I have to admit that I love the songs, but just for listening, not for watching the MV. I wonder why.

I know, I've said to my friends before that we have our own taste... But I have to let you know, that I'm not fastidious person... I like many type of music from classic, pop, jazz, rock (but not black metal), hip hop, and many more (but I don't like music for wayang-Javanese puppet). I also like K-Pop songs, but once again only for listening...

And lastly, one thing that makes me sad is, I don't think J-Pop can be popular in Indonesia. Because if for the male group, like V6, the member is not handsome enough to impressed Indonesian teenagers... Okay, some of the younger male group are handsome and cute, but I don't know, I think they'll never like them... I REALLY want to hear J-Pop songs in some public places... And not Inuyasha's Change The World or Ultraman Tiga's Take Me Higher because both of them are famous only for those who like manga and tokusatsu...

I've tried many times, but failed... So sad... :(
