I had a grand argument with the road today. I kept telling it not to bite me and it kept throwing obstacles in front of my bike to knock me off so it could. So we had a chat. I'm sure I looked rather odd standing there with my bike helmet and pigtails and hollering at the ground between my feet, but such is life. As it is, I only got bit once.
Per local custom, I have participated in bike to work day. My bike is happily sitting behind me - I think it's actually humming, but maybe that's the air vents through the spokes. It's been a long while since I've ridden my bike. And just so you know - the old adage about riding a bike is not true. You CAN forget how to ride a bike. As I very adeptly demonstrated this morning.
