I've been a bad blogger this year. Only 17 entries in total compared to previous years.... don't think that I'll get any better since life has all of a sudden become busier and more fulfilling offline. However, I do miss other people's entries as I've noticed that their lives are more offline these days too.

Here's 2008 in a nutshell:

Left my job... but more importantly left marketing/advertising all together for a new job in Pharma sales. New and exciting (scary) territory for me. It's been a challenge but a good one indeed.
Bought our first home in the 'burbs (15 miles east of Vancouver)
David left his job to move to Vancouver. We are finally together after all these years!
Major renovations on our home - chaos for 4 months (never again will I live and renovate in the same house)
Became landlords for the first time
Lost a shitty friend (good riddance)
Regained a good one
Saddened by the loss of my grandmother, my last living grandparent
Celebrated our first year wedding anniversary
Bridesmaid at one of my close friend's wedding in Toronto
Tried dogsledding and sushi making and became an aunt for the first time
Had the absolute worst hair year

Dog - sledding in Whistler. They don't have the Siberian huskies here because those dogs would overheat in our climate. So it was a cross of the Husky and another type of dog. Not as good of an experience as I thought. They basically fart and poo throughout the ride, so there was no escaping the smell.
