It's almost official!
I got an email today from my NGO's national office, and my country has been decided!
This summer I'll be in Northern Ghana, near Tamale. I'll be still be getting more details, like what town / villiage I'll be placed in, and what project I'll be helping with... but things are getting exciting! I also have a list of the 14 people (that got chosen from across Canada) that will be in Ghana with me (though, none will be in the same town) and I'm pleased to find out that I've met a few of them before from previous conferences / retreats.
Of course, I'll be getting a lot more info in January when I'm at National Conference, but right now I'm just excited to hear some news!
