Decisions decisions
I received a $500 bonus for enduring my painfully annoying job for 5 years last week.
The rational side of me says that I should use this money to pay bills and such, but I always address found money with this type of practicality, so I was thinking that perhaps this time I would be a little frivolous with it.
Being a tremendous geek, I am having difficulty deciding between 2 things that I would like, but wouldn't necessarily spend the money on under normal circumstances.
So I put it to you, to give me some input as to which purchase I should give extra consideration to.
1.) A new video card, probably an ATI X800XT to upgrade from my existing radeon 9700pro. This would be nice, but I don't really need it as the only thing that really taxes my existing setup is doom3, it would be nice however.
2.) The Imperial Star Destroyer by Lego. The new movies may suck, but this is just so damn cool and at 3000+ pieces should keep me busy for a while.
